Wow, what an outstanding meal and a truly lovely evening! We went on a Tuesday night and got the special for two people for $90 (appetizer to share, 2 house salads, 2 entrees, desert to share, and a bottle of house wine). Plus, there’s a live pianist that plays on Tuesdays and who walks around and takes requests! When I made our reservation I noted that it was our anniversary, and we got an amazing table in the corner. The service, the musician, the food - everything was perfect. We’ll be back, and soon! Highly recommend.
Six of us had dinner at Alina’s on Sunday May 18. I was a little worried that the experience might be a bit watered down because of graduation weekend chaos. Me of little faith. Our food and service were excellent! I tried every one of the dishes photographed. They were all great. Alina’s definitely did not mail It in for the graduation rush.
We were a party of two. I had the swordfish special cooked in a creamy mushroom sauce... very, very special. The sides were roasted veggies and mashed potatoes which were wonderful dipping into the sauce. Tiramisu was so good. One dessert was more than enough for us both. Or server was all over the place. He forgot to return with items or to take orders several times. The other servers looked to be very professional, calm and efficient. We'll be back!
It is the top 10 restaurants for me, I have tasted avocado salad, carne BGB new zealand rack of lamb, baby cannolo dessert, it’s Wednesday special, they are perfect and amazing. Today I tried burrata alla caprese salad, delicious, and bistecca con grappa new zealand rack of lamb
We have gone to Alina’s at least twice a year for over eight years. Every time we go the food is outstanding, the atmosphere is elegant and they often have live piano. We have gone for the multi course meals on Wednesdays and Tuesdays as well. We usually go for birthday parties. We went during Covid and ate outside. I recommend the fried cheese with lemon butter it’s our favorite appetizer. We have watched Alina grow up and become a server she is always outstanding along with the rest of the wait staff. The owner is very present and checks on guests every night. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in the region, we have never had a bad or bland experience. Tonight I got the special sea bass which was a strange combination but very good. My wife loves the Alina’s linguine and our party got salmon the special steak and a variety of desserts. The restaurant is a good option for kids if you have occupy their attention for while as this level of quality food takes a while to prepare. We will keep coming here for as long as it remains open.
The best restaurant service I’ve had in years!! The waitstaff is so professional and helpful. I’m not a big fan of capers and they kindly accommodated my preferences and made me an amazing pasta dish. Their wine selection was a nice blend of imports and domestic. And the specials were also incredible. Definitely make a reservation!!! We’ve been wanting to go here for over a year but it’s definitely challenging without a reservation. We did see a couple wait at the bar for a table to clear up - so you could do that. But it was nice being able to just walk in and get seated. We had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary here and we will definitely be back!
Went there last night with the company I work for large party. It was exceptional. Food was amazing, service was outstanding and the atmosphere was wonderful We were attended to by staff with respect and promptly. It was a wonderful experience.
